Artificial
Insemination is our mission. From the selection of elite sires
that will inseminate cows in the whole world, to the actual
insemination, including semen straws production and, of course,
semen export, the whole industry is taken in charge.
Training of inseminators from the whole world in our centre
in Roulans (France), is also a routine activity. This training,
of on average 6 weeks, is both theoretical and practical (at
the slaughterhouse and in farms), and allows the young technician
to be fully operational at the end.
Embryo transfer also offers many advantages, both from a scientific
and commercial point of view.
Indeed, no efficient selection program could do without this
technology, which allows to multiply rapidly the best families
instead of having to wait a year for each calf. Over 500 transfers
are done each year in France to this effect, within the Montbeliarde
Breed Selection Program.

Furthermore, embryo exports remain a good way to create pure
breed herds in far-away countries, towards which live cattle
export is not always possible.
Training of ET technicians in France can be done in our organization,
as for inseminators. An on-site assistance by a specialized
technician is also possible in some case. |
